Join us for Suzuki Sprouts Fall Session:

Sept 23 -Dec 9, 2025

Tuesdays 9:45 am or 5:45 pm @ Immanuel Lutheran Church

Suzuki Sprouts is a certified Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) class for children ages 0-3. Classes are approximately 60 minutes long and are intentionally small, with no more than 10 children plus their caregiver. Expectant parents are invited to attend free of charge.

Firmly rooted in the teaching philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, the Sprouts curriculum aims to help young children develop a beautiful heart, fine character, and a readiness for learning. Observation, imitation, and repetition of a consistent curriculum based on traditional nursery rhymes and action songs in a calm, nurturing, mixed-aged setting creates an ideal environment for mastery and growth.

Skills a child may develop include: sharing & cooperation, independence, self-regulation, listening & following directions, language & number acquisition, awareness of pitch & rhythm, memory & focus, fine motor skills, socialization, and empathy.

What is Suzuki Sprouts?

Suzuki Early Childhood (SECE) is based on the premise that the potential for every child is unlimited. Believing that any country’s most important resource is its children, SECE educators work in partnership with parents to create a stimulating learning environment. When the environment is rich and unpressured, Suzuki teachers observe that a child not only learns a skill but also gains a sense of purpose to life, an understanding of discipline, and an appreciation of beauty. - Dorothy Jones, SECE founder
